Car service in Edgewater, MD

Heading north, everything funnels over the South River Bridge on MD-2 into Annapolis, then onto US-50 or I-97. That's the way to BWI, usually 30 to 40 minutes, and the bridge is where weekday rush hours slow things down.

Heading west, there's a second choice. MD-214 (Central Avenue) runs through Davidsonville to the Capital Beltway and on into the District as East Capitol Street, which leads straight to the Capitol. Your chauffeur picks between it and US-50 based on that day's traffic.

A day of Capitol Hill or downtown meetings, booked by the hour so the car waits between stops; flights from BWI and Reagan National; and weddings and parties at waterfront venues on the South River and the Mayo Peninsula, where a Sprinter van or the bus can shuttle guests.

Visitors to Historic London Town and Gardens on the South River, or the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center on the Rhode River, can be met at BWI, Reagan National or Union Station and driven to the gate. For South River High School's prom, the stretch limo is quoted on request, so ask early.
